Can anyone suggest a good, cheap online site to take some Continuing Education classes to keep my insurance license up to date in California.

ive read a lot and some things say that you have to get your BSN and work as a RN fcor one or two years before you can continue education to become a nurse practitioner…but can i just go to school for my masters and become an NP at the end…and just skip RN?

I was thinking of becoming a medical assistant, for a hospital or homecare provider, as I think it would be a great way to get started in the healthcare industry. I was wondering if anyone out there works as a med asst. for a hospital or home care provider and is also going back to school and receiving tuition assistance from their employer. Thanks.

What is the best teeth whitening toothpaste?

I have somewhat white teeth but they could be better. I want to know what is the best toothpaste that makes your teeth whiter. What I am using now doesn’t do much for me. It is " Crest Whitening Expressions". I have been using it for months now and nothing has changed. I brush my teeth twice a day and still, nothing.

So what is the best toothpaste for whitening teeth. Also is there anything else I can do to make them whiter. Use mouthwash or what?

Thanks.

What decent online drawing classes are there?

I’m a self-taught artist, and I wish to improve. I’m currently looking for online drawing classes for sketching, or manga, that are free or have a low cost. A decent / good online class would be nice…but I have no idea where to find such things. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Maybe it varies with everyone, to be honest I don’t know much about how it works, but why do I have to be a full time IN-CLASS student to get insurance? Why can’t just taking online courses give me it too?

How buch does teeth implants cost, per tooth?

I’ve been thinking about going for the idea, but I would have to save alot of money.

Is it hard to become a dental hygienist?

Does anyone know what you have to learn to become a dental hygienist? Is it hard? How much do dental hygienists earn?

I want to study online to start getting my teaching degree, so I’m just wondering is it better to have a laptop or a desktop. If you have taken online courses what was the advantage of having either. Thank you.

I’m a 27-year-old single mother and I’ve decided to go back t school. I already have a bachelor’s degree, but it’s in English and I can’t do anything with it that pays more than an hour. I also can’t raise my child and pay all our bills on an hour, so I’ve decided to go back to school to supplement my degree. In going back to school I have to quit my full time job so I’m going to be even more broke. I don’t want a pile of student loans eating up all my money after I graduate because what’s the point in making more money if I’ve only got more bills to pay? Where can I apply online for a continuing education scholarship for a single mother? All the sites I’ve found tell you where to find scholarships on other sites and pretty much all of those either charge a fee I can’t afford to apply or are not offered for people who have a degree. This is really stressing me out!
I’ve already tried that stupid about.com site (which I absolutely hate) and raisethenation.com to no avail.

And before anyone gets hateful, I’m a single mother because my baby’s father left me. I’m not some dumb kid who got knocked up and is trying to live off everyone else. I worked two jobs while pregnant to make ends meet and now I’m doing everything I can to give my child a better life, hence going back to school. I’m not asking for a hand out, just a hand up.

I graduate in a year and a half in Child and Family Studies with a minor in Psychology. I will be home for approximately one semester before grad school. I am interested in teaching a class for the general public in Psychology or CAFS…any ideas? That I can offer without it being a counseling session (which will not be in my scope of practice yet!!)

Getting into Nursing School?

I want to continue my higher education in Nursing and obtain a Bachelors degree. However I can’t stop hearing about how competitive it is and how I won’t get in.

I have a tough highschool schedule, including ALL honors courses, and have Mainly B’s and C’s in them. I am captain / founder of my schools rock climbing team, and 2 4 year varsity sports. Also i am in civil rights team at my school and have hours volunteering at my hospital.

What are my chances of getting in? Also some good nursing schoosl in the north east?
