If I want to become a dental hygienist what should my college major be?
I was wondering because I keep hearing these three different terms continuing education and ceus (continuing education units) extended education and college education.
Also what is the difference in non-credit and credit courses? what are credits good for? what are ceus and what are they for?
I want to apply to a Harvard graduate degree program in a few years. Would it make a difference if I take some undergrad-level courses in the same field as a continuing education student at Harvard? Or do you think that will have no positive impact on whether I will be admitted?
well my orthodontist put in a spring thingy on my braces so that it can make space and i can get a tooth implant for the canine that i am missing. So will this make a big gap????
I am asking because I am currently taking an "online" course yet for the 3rd time this semester the instructor has asked us to come in (twice for tests) and a third for a book check. This troubles me since the reason I opted for "online" was due to the fact I am at home with a small child. Please, Please advise.
Or is it possible? I’m a junior in high school, but I want to take some college courses online. Will it be possible for me to do this?
I need major work (I had an accident and lost a tooth) and I am being told by my dentist that I have to pay out of pocket 60%. This seems so high to me, expecially when I pay out the butt for dental insurance every month! Is all dental insurance like this? Are discount dental programs better? I can’t afford to pay 60% of my dental work. Its going to be over 00. Does this make sense? Whats the point of getting dental insurance if you still have to pay ridiculous amounts of money anyway?
I have not been neglecting my teeth, I had an accident.
Well.. my brother just had his fillings, and now he sees a black spot on the side of his tooth that was worked on. I’m not really sure if its because the filling fell out.. or is it just tooth decay? Its a black spot, thats kinda like a circle that goes in a bit. and even if it were tooth decay.. don’t they fill that in too? Please enlighten me
thanks!
nope he got the white ones.. and yes joanne , I did search google already..
but I want to really make sure.. is it wrong to want to help my brother? ;\

Hi, im in high school and i’ve been thinking about going into dental hygiene. Tennessee State University is the closest school to me that offers it. Yet, it is known to be kind of a bad school. I was wondering if i could go to another college such as Lipscomb University just to complete my general education, and then after two years transfer to TSU to finish my bachelors in dental hygiene.
Would it work this way? What should i do to become dental hygienist?
Is ‘continuing education’ for someone who wants to learn a new job? Or just someone who wants more education about their current job?
Hello, I am getting braces soon, I live in Seattle, WA. I would like to find out a clinic that does braces it doesn’t have to be at Seattle, I practically can go far distances from Seattle.
Could anyone recommend me a dental place or clinic to get my braces and an appropriate and good insurance for that clinic that would work.
Could someone explain to me how all this works, because I’ve got no clue what and where.
I’m looking for teacher certification programs that can be done online. I currently have a BBA and would like to do this while I still work and take as little amount of classes necessary.
