How can I get Dental Insurance ?

I live in USA.

I am unemloyed & too old to work & not able to do any business.

I need some dental work done.

Can I get Dental insurance ?

I will be paying for insurance from my savings.

If I do not qualify for dental insurance, what other choices do I have ?

Any & all help is appreciated.

Thank You

I had part 1 of a 3-appointment root canal procedure a couple of days ago.

The evening of the surgery I felt fine. Yesterday the nerve was a bit sensitive at times. And today it’s extremely painful, to the point that I have a lot of difficulty chewing food. Is this normal? And, can I expect this to subside prior to my second appointment next week, or do I have to wait until the entire root canal is complete to feel some relief?

Thanks.

I think I have this tooth/gum disease, I am making an appt for a dentist bc I just figured out I CAN use my insurance thanks to the people that answered my question about it since I am completely clueless about insurances and stuff. My gums bleed everytime I brush and get really swollen which are major symptoms of that. If I do have this what will they do, I mean, dont laugh but, they wont take all my teeth out will they?

I recently graduated high school and have lived on my own since i was 17. I am interested in becomeing a dental assistant and would like to learn more about the process. Is it possible to take the classes online?Average cost? I must support myself so it is very difficult to work and go to school. Any other careers i could look into? Any information would be very appreciated.

are the online schools teaching relevant information and is it difficult to to learn this information online versus a class room. Also how does say for example Ashworth college compare to a comunity college.
Finally will a online university prepare me for passing the epa exam

Are dental implants for missing teeth only?

I’m 16 years old and I’ll be getting braces. ugh. But I was wondering if dental implants are for missing teeth only?, or if there’s a possibility that they can replace crooked teeth?

I am trying to decide which to choose. I never liked lecturing, but am not sure if I need the class envoirnment to suceed.

Why does rinsing with warm salt water help after oral surgery? What properties does salt have that make it helpful, and what does the rinsing accomplish? Thanks.

I have no dental insurance, but I can’t wait any longer, I need to get many cavities fixed, and I need help with my gum disease. I was managing it from home pretty well for a while but I still need help. Since I have no insurance, how much will it cost me to get my many cavities fixed and get help with my gum disease?

My cat has eaten some dental floss and it has made its way though her system and is now partially hanging out of her, you know what. What should I do about this?

I am a US citizen taking online college classes and am looking for a job that would allow me to move around overseas, but would still allow me access to the internet on a regular basis in order to continue my education. Any ideas of a good job? Sadly I only speak english, and i know that doesnt help. Doesn’t have to pay well, just enough to put food on the table… and i guess enough to buy a table to put food on…

I am a writer and am looking for a day job that is inspiring, has a good livable salary and allows me to not work over 40 hour weeks. i find hospice work incredibly inspiring but i am concerned that it would take over my life and not allow me to be a writer on my time off.

I really like that nurses give care, empathy and compassion to the people who need it the most. And as tragic as death is, it is also one of the most meaningful life events and i want to be of support to the patient and family to try and help them keep their dignity in this part of life that all of us will someday have to go through. But i am concerned that i will get burnt out if i end up needing to work over 40 hour weeks and am struggling to make ends meet because that would interfere with my goal of being a freelance writer.

Would a different nursing specialty fit my needs of 40 hour weeks max and good pay? I am willing to get as much education as needed to have a job that will allow me this lifestyle so i can continue writing.

Thanks for the advice
I’d love to hear from Hospice nurses or other nurses on whether you can really can find a nursing specialty where you do not work over 40 hours a week. Flexible shifts and nights or weekend are fine i just don’t want to go above the 40 hour mark.
