Dental amalgams and heat during setting?

It is well known that resin-based dental fillings give off a lot of heat while they set. If extreme, this can kill the tooth. Does anyone know if amalgam setting is like this, i.e.. exothermic?

Grinding teeth?

My 10 month old has his two bottom teeth and his four on top. Since his front top teeth have come down all the way he has been grinding his teeth together. He doesn’t do this all of the time, but he does do it. Is this normal?

Dental Plans?

Anyone have any experiences with Dental Plans? I don’t have dental insurance and I probably need to have a fixed bridge or something for my four front teeth. I don’t have a lot of money.

Dental Malpractice Lawyer?

Any suggestions?
