OK so my head hurts so bad from being so confused about what I want I feel like my brain is bleeding. Right now im going to a community college to transfer to a university in fall 2011. Im majoring in elementry education….HOWEVER, Ive been back and forth with myself about if this is what i really want so many times that im extemly fed up I think ive decided I cant do it anymore. I cant stand all the stupid classes that I have to take ( 4 science courses, 3 math courses, ect just to teach 5 year olds!!!), and i dont really think I would enjoy the carrer choice anymore because of all the negatives about teaching, AND its gonna take me another 3.5 years to graduate (I started out only taking 2 classes a semester)
Also the fact that I realized that i think im one of those "college isnt for me people" I thought I needed to go 4 years because thats what people expect…but I really dont think its for me I just want to take classes that get to the point and teach you exactly what you need for the job. Enter trade school.
Ive decided that i either want to be a dental hygenist or a physical therapy asst. both will take me about 1.5-2 years to graduate from (shorter than It would be to get my teaching degree) and i think a hygenist job would pay more.
Even though I kinda made up my mind im still confused and exausted. Ive cried so many times about this because I hate school so much I just want to get it over with. I was thinking about dropping the classes im in now (they wouldnt count for either hygenist or therapy assit anyways) and just working full time at the day care I work at for the rest of this semester just to take a break from everything Ive been going through and get my head clear…i dont think any classes would be open for dental hygene right now anyways (thats the job I would prefer) so am I stupid for thinking this? Should I just continue on? Is it a good idea for me to take a break like i mentioned?
Btw—–I wouldnt be majoring in dental hygene I would just do the associates degree at the community college im at now. Smart Idea???
Thanks
I understand that Its ultimetly my decision but It always nice to have someone agree with you to boost your confedence ( or dissagree) I just really want some feedback….put yourself in my shoes what would you do??

My husband and I have started trying to conceive, but I have 6 mercury fillings I’d like to have replaced before I become pregnant. My questions is, how long after I have my fillings replaced do I have to wait before we try to conceive?? I know that removing the fillings actually releases more mercury into your body, so when would be a good time to try to get pregnant afterwards? How long does it take to flush out of my system? Thanks!

I have had 6 dental fillings for 20 years now. I wonder if some physical complaints I have – such as fatigue, irritability, lack of energy – could be caused by mild mercuty poisoning.

I’ve heard mercury can be linked to MS, cilliaca disease, rhum. arthritis, IBS, alergies, skin conditions. Anyone had any experience with this?

Dentists always say that its safe but why?
But mercury is an insidious poison. It does not show health effects until much later. Was there any long term studies that proved it safe?
What about adults or elderly population? Most of mercuries effects dont show up during childhood.

By accident, I swallowed mercury from a thermometer and was wondering is that worse than all the mercury in my tooth fillings?

I am trying to find some good books about the potentially poisonous materials that dentist use in your mouth, and about mercury poisoning in amalgram fillings. Does anyone know any good books about this stuff???

i have noticed that a few of my teeth (with amalgam fillings) have become unusually sensitive all of a sudden and it’s really irritating. do you think it’s time for me to get them removed and replaced? has anyone experienced this? did the removal process hurt?
thanks in advance

Does Mercury Poisoning cause people to believe that Mercury is safe in their mouth, but dangerous in the environment?
I notice that liberals have this problem a lot.
