My 10 month old has his two bottom teeth and his four on top. Since his front top teeth have come down all the way he has been grinding his teeth together. He doesn’t do this all of the time, but he does do it. Is this normal?

I had a root canal for tooth pain 18 months ago, although the dentist couldn’t find much cause for my pain. Several months later the pain returned. Last month it became severe and woke me up. My English dentist prescribed a tooth guard to prevent grinding and the pain went away. It returned last week, despite the tooth guard. Any possible reasons?

I have been using sensodyne for a long time, almost a year, which is what my dentist suggested. I even use ACT restoring mouth wash. I am still sensitive to sweet things. The dentist says there is no problem, is there anything else that can be done? I am ready to check into dentures, this pain is horrid.

I am losing the enamel in my front tooth. Is there any tooth paste to restore that. I do grind my teeth at night so I do wear a mouth guard just not all the time. Is this the cause of it?

I want to go to dental school after college and I am planning to get my degree in English. I keep hearing people say I would regret not learning my biochemistry ahead of time once I get into dental school. Is that possible? I hardly know anything I need.

I am a 25 year old female and I have diabetes and I have a heart murmur and I recently had a stroke and the last time I had my teeth cleaned was in late March. In April I has a tooth pulled in the back of my mouth for a dead tooth to avoid a root canal. I was wondering if it was time to get my teeth cleaned again.

Why are there no directions for use on mouthwash?

I bought one of those car bottle warmers, but it takes like 15-20 min. to heat… who wants to hear their baby cry for 15-20 min when they are hungry? (you can’t always heat it before they get hungry sometimes they get hungry unannounced!) It is OK when I am at a restaurant, I can get hot water, but what about when I am out running errands or shopping? Anyone have any ideas that can make this easier for a new mom?

Also, if my baby has started to refuse the bottle but acts hungry when she pueshes it away, do you think she could be teething? I can’t tell if she has white spots on her gums, and she has always slobered a lot anyway. You can’t use baby oragell until 4 months and she won’t chew on the rings form the freezer.

A thermose of hot water is a good idea… she is on Infameal Soy and they have the ready made bottles you can buy but they don’t come with nipples? Where do you get the disposable nipples?

Has anyone had to go see an oral surgeon wile pregnant?? i am 24 weeks pregnant and I have to get a wisdom tooth taken out and my dentist referred me to an oral surgeon. If so what type of anesthesia do they use?? i am so scared!!

Got 2 of my amalgams removed while breastfeeding, should I worry about my toddler? Dentist didn’t use rubber dam, etc.. Should I worry that my child got too much mercury?
