I lost one of my bottom molars, and I am thinking about getting an implant in it’s place.

what the process is?
how long is the surgery?
what is the recovery like?
is it as strong as a regular tooth?
is it very painful?
do they knock you out for the procedure?
how much is it?

I am getting married in less than four months and I need some household remedies for teeth whitening. Any ideas? Something that has worked for you??

What happens to medical and dental benefits if you’re fired from your job and are now collecting unemployment? I work in NY state and just want to know if I lose my medical and dental benefits if I get fired, but start collecting unemployment.

I’m having oral surgery to have all 4 impacted wisdom teeth cut out. They are causing my TMJ to be worse. They told me that once I’m asleep and they get to working on me, they may have to break my jaw bone to get ky mouth open wider.

I was hoping someone could tell me really what to expect when I wake up and kind of what I will feel like for a few days afterwards.

i was diagnosed with periodontal disease a while back and i was prescribed a mouth wash that helped fix the problem, but now its back. I cant afford a trip to the dentist to get a new prescription so im looking for an otc. Anyone able to help?

How many years, and how long does it take to become a cosmetic dentist? Any good schools? I’m planning on going to a 4-year college but i want to know what to do after that, or if I should take the full 4 years. Any tips from dentists? thanks!

i have relatively straight teeth the top an bottom left ‘fang’ stick out over the top of the ones next to it, but that is not why i need braces. my jaw is crocked and shifts to the left when i open it and braces can correct the without surgery. (according to the orthodontist i visited)
so the question is, if she didn’t mention anything about removing teeth, will it be needed?
also…i was told i needed a crown, will the braces "work" on the crown or will it get damaged?
the crown is suppose to be on the second to the last back molar.

my boyfriend has had ear ringing non-stop for the past couple of weeks, his ear now seems to have more pain than usual. should he go see an audio-ologist or an ear, nose, and throat specialist?

I got some dental fillings for cavities 4-5 months ago. I think I felt them right after the operation but within maybe a couple of days I didn’t feel anything, and I don’t think I feel any difference now. I also periodically get pain where one of the fillings were – I’d feel some pain for a few days and then it disappears for a month or so. Does that mean I need to get it checked again and possibly refilled?

I am 60 and take care of my grandsons, so I have little money to use towards dental care. I need a root canal and crown badly on a tooth that shows when I smile. It looks black because I broke part of it off. Do not tell me to get dental insurance as they do not work for 1 yr. Is there a place someone like me can go to get cheaper dental work?

My 10 month old has his two bottom teeth and his four on top. Since his front top teeth have come down all the way he has been grinding his teeth together. He doesn’t do this all of the time, but he does do it. Is this normal?
