I have to wear upside-down V’s, which means that they hook onto two and i have to tuck it around a bracket on the top of my mouth. I cant even open my mouth wide enough for my finger to fit bewteen my teeth. How can I fix this?

I got my fillings an hour ago so it is safe to eat for me. But, the Novocaine is wearing off and my two teeth i got fillings on (bottom left 2 molers) and i would liek to knwo what is good to eat when in pain after getting 3 silver fillings? Thank You.

I have been telling my 7 yr old daughter’s dentist for almost a year that she has space problems, and he wouldn’t listen. Now he’s telling me that its mandatory she have braces or her adult teeth wont be able to come through and will cause cysts under the gum. Isn’t there a way of removing some of the back teeth and then her teeth will straighten out. Mine did!! I don’t see why her dentist wont do it.

I find this the most awkward part of visiting the dentist. I always try to pull my tongue back in my mouth so it doesn’t seem like I’m trying to lick the dentist/hygienists fingers.

Does anyone else find this awkward?

I’m 15 I have braces and I have mild gingivitis and I floss once a day I brush maybe from three minutes but only brush twice a day? Will it go away soon! I also poor hydrogen peroxide 3% or somethin on my tooth brush and brush my teeth first with that then I brush and I rinse with this medicine my doctor gave me will this go away in no time or no?

I had some dental work done and I’m getting a second job to help pay for it. This job, unlike my current, has benefits, including Dental. Would I be able to use their dental insurance towards a bll, I’m already paying off? That would help immensly.

I’ve been normally brushing twice daily and it is really painful! My gums hurt really badly and they start to bleed a lot. After I brush I use a mouth wash called Savacol I think, kind of like Listerine, It numbs the pain a bit but, I’ve been using it twice daily also and I can’t taste any food!
It hurts when I eat and I can’t taste anything!

Is this the right way to get rid of Gingivitis? Or is there an easier and simpler way?

How is the dental insurance in the military? Do they pay for most major dental practices?

My mom had a crown placed on a molar and soon after had to have a root canal done on the tooth because she had been experiencing pain and discomfort especially when eating. She has an appointment soon were the dentist is apparently going to use a regular filling to basically cover up the hole left from the root canal. Is that the normal procedure or should a new crown be placed? Or is it something else?

I am planning to have a new life and at the same time have a career that I can be proud of. I’ve been working at a retail store for four years with an AA diploma and yet I don’t get enough respect. If you are my dentist, would you just recommend me at a school? The dental schools here are 2 hours away from my house or are there dentist that does apprenticeship? I’m 21 years old.

Yes, i did ruin my teeth, but my mom can’t really tell, it is hard to see unless you are like really close to me. But they look pretty see through in spots and kinda yellow.

2 nights ago I bleached my hair, then the next morning I put a permanent dye on it. I’m kind of afraid to use a flat iron, I don’t see any noticeable damage from bleaching and dying it, just slight breakage. I’m afraid if I apply heat it will break off in chunks. How long should I wait? And what should I put on my hair before flat ironing it?
