How do you position your tongue at the dentist?
I find this the most awkward part of visiting the dentist. I always try to pull my tongue back in my mouth so it doesn’t seem like I’m trying to lick the dentist/hygienists fingers.
Does anyone else find this awkward?

Keep it as far down as possible and as far back as possible. There’s nothing more frustrating than a "Curious tongue". (Yes, there is a scientific name for that).
Against the bottom of my mouth. I do hate that though, when I accidentally lick their fingers. xD
The back of my mouth.,
Down the dentist throat or round his bellend
Usually in the cute dental hygienist’s mouth. Oh well, one can always dream.
Oh I know I hate that! I just try to sort of flatten it… and keep it still… but my tongue never feels so big and in-the-way as when you see a dentist.
I wonder if any dentists answer to tell us the tongue etiquette…
