How should I offer to settle out of court with a Dentist (s) practice? I did a stupid thing. I wanted braces like the gangster rappers and I paid for them. Like 800.00 cash. They were put on by a Dental Assistant/after hours/no records/no followups. Dear God, I want them off. I’m getting headaches every day. My gum is dissapearing on the bottom. The brackets are gone and some are loose. The practice is well known and pride themselves on their work. I also fear retaliation from this girl, the assistant. Maybe there is a need for an investigation now, since braces are a trend. She may be soliciting her own services using company name. Please keep in mind that I did not need braces…my teeth were straight.I did this a year ago…Do I settle out of court. Should this be reported? To Who?

I got my braces on last week and one of the brackets came off so I got it redone and the glue keeps coming off my front tooth. The bracket is still on the wire and all the rest are connected to my teeth. Is this OK? Has anyone got a way of helping me to keep the bracket on my tooth so that I don’t have to get it redone again?

I just got my braces on a few days ago. The orthodontist put my brackets on but he didnt put the wire in. I also got spacers. I think this looks really weird because all i have is brackets and all of my friends agree. Why did he do this?

I have moved and have a new orthodontist and they want to take off a few brackets and put some new ones on. Will they have to use a mouth retractor?

Alright, well I was going to this one ortho for about 7 months. Then I moved and now I’m going to a different one, and the new orthodontist has COMPLETELY different philosophies from my old one. Their talking about removing teeth, putting somethiing in my mouth to bring my molars down, they said the brackets were placed wrong.

I dont get why my old orthodontist didnt tell me about these things if I honestly needed them.

I got my molar bands today and I get my brackets in a week. Everytime I eat my molar bands catch the inside of my cheek and I end up biting my cheek. What can I do to stop it?

I have had them on for three years, and the gums have grown down towards the brackets. So I’m just wondering if the will go back naturally, or if I’ll have to get gum surgery.

I just got my braces, and the floss keeps getting stuck on the brackets of my braces. I tried to get it out, and I think that I got most of it out, but if there are still pieces of floss stuck on the brackets, could that damage your teeth or braces? Thanks!

I am getting my braces off soon and I want to whiten my teeth when they are off, because I have seen people that when there braces are off they have little white spots where the brackets used to be. I have been looking around for the best home products to use. I need one that will be strong, but will not hurt or cause sensitivity to my teeth. Also something that does not cost too much money.
