I just finished school for my certificate in veterinary assisting and my husband and I have been discussing having a child here in the near future. I’ve come to a lot of realizations while on my internship and need a little guidance as to what to do with my next move.

I’d like to try to conceive within the next couple months and continue working at my stable customer service job then take some time off to raise the child. I could be continuing my education online to get my CVT and stay at home with my child then, so once I am back out in the field, I can go farther than just cleaning kennels.

Or should I continue working at a vet clinic, build a solid position then get pregnant a year or so down the line? I’d hate to do that then tell my boss I can’t do half my job duties (x-rays, anesthetic monitoring, etc) then possibly lose my position once I’m out in the field again after giving birth.

I’m just looking for some advice… any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Let me add…With my current job, I have amazing health insurance. If I leave it and go into the veterinary industry, health insurance isn’t always offered or it’s incredibly cheap/worthless.

I am accepted as Biomedica/clinical engineering from Long beach.the program that they offer is general engineering degree with the emphasis on Biomedical/clinical engineering. this program is under electrical engineering. they offer mostly electronics courses and just a little(about 19 units) of biomedical engineering.
should I take this offer and continue my education?
I also have an option to go to calpoly pomona/csu LA as electrical engineering program.
I have hard time deciding which one to choose.
please send me your comments and tell me if you were me and wanted to be successful to find a job which one would you choose.and if i take the long beach option do you think I will be able to go for my mater degree in another university.
I will appreciate your comments and ideas.

I graduated from Columbus College of Art and Design with my BFA focused on Time Based Media.
I am looking to further my education and earn my teaching certification. I plan on continuing at my current job so I can only attend night courses and/or classes 2 days a week.
I’m interested in teaching K-12 art, literature, drama/speech.
Any suggestions?

So I barely graduated from college because I was a stupid kid and got careless. I ended up graduating with a horrible (2.0) GPA. I majored in Psychology and now that I am more mature, I would like to pursue that career path. I really want to get into grad school so I can continue my education. What should I do? I read online that if I took 2 years worth of undergraduate classes with excellent grades, I should not have a problem. Is this true or is there a better way? I don’t care how hard the path is, I just don’t want to be paying for my stupid mistakes in college for the rest of my life. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it.

I originally wanted to be a forensic anthropologist, but that takes years…So I changed my plan to a forensic biologist (which I can get a job in with a Bachelor’s degree.)

Could I get a job as a forensic biologist and continue studying for forensic anthropology? Will I have done most of the courses in my forensic biology degree or will I have to pretty much start from the beginning?

Also, I’m a rising junior in a early college high school program. By the time I’ve graduated, I’ll have 2 years of that education done, so keep that in mind, please.
I’ve never watched CSI, and I’ve wanted a career in some sort of science for most of my life…

I am a graduate from NHCTC with an associates degree in restaurant management, and i am looking for a great school to continue my education in culinary arts but i feel that every school i look at is "Sub-par" in the culinary department.

i want to continue my education i took mba course 3 years ago but they require the gmat to be able to continue i am not working i have a son he is 18 months old.i am afraid to put him on a daycare,and also i need to study hard so i can set a day for the gmat exam. i am divorced so i am the only responsible for the child.

I went to yahoo hot jobs and clicked apply now to apply for a job. It went to another website and there was a application that needed me first/last name, address, zip code, cellphone #, and resume. after clicking continue, it went to another site and asked me if i want more information on education and about credit score. It was too late now because I clicked continue.They gave me a sn and pass to log in to check my application status. I got a phone call the next day asking if I want to stop receiving calls about about a bank press 1. The day after that, I got an email from that site saying click on the link for information about the interview, I clicked the bottom that says to stop receiving emails from this address. I guess the email that they told me to click to set up an interview was where they will ask me for my SS# or bank info. (did not give them Social security # or bank info.)

I know anyone can get these information on the phone book but scammers have a lot of ways to get information today.

I was wondering what they can do with my full name, address, zip code, cellphone#, and email?

I’m a 3rd year Political Science student at York University in Canada, and have been planning to transfer to the United States to continue/finish my education. Since I finished high school in Canada and applies originally to a Canadian University, I have not takes any form of SATs. So my question is will I have to take the SATs when applying to school in the United States? Or will my GPA from my current University courses be sufficient?

Hi, I already graduated from a local community college in orlando with my AA but want to goto school to be a dietitian. I looked online on the associations website and only school listed is in Miami…are there any schools in Orlando or any online programs that would count toward the coursework at least? Unfortunately due to some family issues I can’t leave the Orlando area but want to continue my education. Any help is appriciated! Thank you
