How can I make money?

Sounds like a silly question, but honestly. I’m eighteen and I’ve graduated community college. I plan on continuing my education in the near future. I have a part time job, but I feel very dependent on my parents. I’m interested in moving out and being able to pay my own way, but I don’t have the money for that now and at this rate, I know I probably won’t for a while. What are some other ways to make money? Or maybe jobs that may be better? Please nothing online. Thanks so much.

So I have no insurance because my mom took me off her plan because she could no longer afford it.

my mom makes 40,000 a year but she’s a widow so all her money goes to bills and payments. She is struggling to keep up with her payments though and considering a part time job.

So I fell and my face hit the pavement thus chipping my front tooth. It really hurts but I don’t know what to do, since I don’t have insurance.

what do I do?

Ok here’s my problem…
I want to take early childhood education and be a daycare teacher but it’s hard to decide which is better to do, so I need you guys to help me.

choice # one: nscc online course.
-Take the course online but i’am not garenteed to finish it in 2years because courses get full and they get full fast online.
-I don’t know if i can get a student loan for online courses :S if not than I doubt i would be able to get the money in time before the classes are full.
- I think the girl said it will be about 375$ per course and theres 27 courses which is just over 10 grand.
-On the plus side I have 2 years worth of transfer credits to the university I like if i decide to go to univesity later on.

Choice # 2 Take it at a private college:
-It will cost me almost 12 grand for tution for the years.
-I will have to stay at rsidence since it isn’t that close to me so that will be about 11 grand but that’s food included. so right there thats about 23 grand.
- I can only get a year and a half worth of transfer credits to that same university.
- On the plus side I get to experience living at a residence and on my own.
- I could finish in the 2 years.
- It’s also much easier to learn from a teacher than learning stuff on your own.

What do you think would be a smart decision, I was thinking if me and my bf could get a morgage on a house between where I live and the school at least the money is being spent on having a house ut i would have to get a part time job to pay for food and gas, and it would be a 30 min drive which is fine with me but when the roads are bad I might end up having to skip some classes which I don’t want to do, so I don’t know im kinda stuck with deciding on what to do, please help me !!
oh yeah I’m scared about the 20 grand because im prob only going to make like 10-12 dollars an hour, so it will be hard to pay off that’s why I want to make the smarter choice.
sry i made alot of spelling mistakes i was typing fast lol

Anyone here teach for an online school?

I am almost done with my grad school (Embry Riddle) and thought about teaching online students as a part time job. Does anyone else do this? How are you paid (per class? salary?) The school websites do not tell you what the online instructors make. Thanks.

should I claim child support?

ok so .. i have been living with the parents of the father my child since September of this year (long story short). He comes around back & forth to visit our son like a good father should. He lives with an aunt. Despite our disagreements & problems ( he slept with someone a week after we seperated. That’s how serious I take our seperation), I have not claimed child support. Now, alot of my friends (yes girls) including my oldest brother say I should be putting child support on him. The thing is, he said & promised me a half of his tax return if I don’t claim it. The, other, problem is I have been struggling for 6 months looking for at least a part time job while i have been taking a continuing education course in Property Management. In the end, no one has yet to hire me. The only means i have coming in are Food Stamps & little money of at least 20-30 dollars a month from either my biological father, mom, and the people i live with. Him on the other hand, makes 100-150 a week at at a call center & contribute’s little money. He doesn’t give me any money directly; everything that our son needs, he goes to the store personally to get it (food, pull ups, medicine etc). Four months ago a high cell phone bill came in he has continually been paying off & been doig MMA classes (0 a month). leaving him in a financial mess. Leaving him with way less than he has in as little as 3 days. I know I can start getting money coming in once I start working in the field I am studying for; at the same time my son and I, live by our means as it is now. I don’t want to make his financial situation worse ; he also lost his car (it broke down). But i am in a bad situation as it is. I’m scared & confused. I just want to do the right thing. Please, what is the right thing?
i should also add (this is also a reson why we are not together) this is the kind of man where i have tried to get into developing our own contract printed up where we both sign, but he refuses.

Dental/Health insurance?

I’m 18(19 next month), and a full time college student. I’ve never been to the doctors besides when I was a baby, and I’ve never been to the dentist(don’t worry, I get all my shots and meds from my aunt who is a nurse & my teeth are in good condition) but my wisdom teeth need to be taken out and it’d be nice to see a doctor every now and then.

But I have never had insurance, and I don’t think my part time job offers anything. How do I go about getting cheap health/dental insurance? I know nothing about it. Does it come together? Are the ones were you apply online scams? Thank you!

I am going to be applying fo the Dental Hygienist Program. They only take six people per year. I am planning to have good grades on my prerequisites. I am also planning to get a part-time job in a Dental Office. What other things should I do to help ensure that I am selected for the program?

Separation, divorce and health/dental insurance?

Through our marriage, my husband had the full-time job, and I was a stay-at-home mom for four years, then have worked a part-time job for the past year. He made a lot of money, I made enough to pay for childcare and have a little extra spending money of my own, and it was fine.

This past weekend, he decided he wanted to leave, without giving me ANY warning, and he’s moving into his new apartment tomorrow. He WILL be paying child support in the form of my rent and car payment, which is actually a little more than the standard child support.

I’ve been on his health and dental insurance, and he emailed me this morning to let me know that I need to attend to all my medical stuff in the next few weeks, because he’s dropping me from the insurance then.

Is it standard to do that, or to wait until the divorce is final, or at least FILED? I am looking for a new full-time job, don’t have one yet, but I won’t even qualify for most health insurance at work until a few months from now.
