Hello! I really need some advice, I had a lot of trouble being able to find a college that would accept me without SAT scores or with "average" grades from High school, I was doing credit recovery for the bad grades I had gotten in senior year in high school…

I am now ready to go to college. Luckily I found a 4+ year private college, I want to be a psychologist (I’m looking forward to continuing my education after my BA of course)…The "problem" is that if I want to focus on psychology they offer it as a course within the Liberal Arts and Sciences major,

What does this mean? I’m sorry, I’m not so informed on this, I was really glad that I got accepted into the college, they didn’t focus on my grades or on test scores, i felt really relieved by finding this place, now I am very worried though. They didn’t have psychology as an individual major, instead they have Liberal Arts and Sciences covering courses like philosophy, language, science, *psychology*…Will I be able to specifically get a major on psychology through the Liberal Arts and Sciences course?

I would have loved to specifically choose psychology as my major, but this was the only college that seemed to offer me an opportunity of being accepted without much focus on my bad grades from before, I took the assessment test and passed it , and they seemed to like how I did on the interview. That’s all it took for me to get accepted, If I want to specialize specifically on psychology and further my studies after my BA and become a psychologist can I achieve this by taking the Liberal Arts and Sciences course?

Or do I have to look for a college that specifically has psychology as an individual major in order to further my studies within this area?

Ok here’s my problem…
I want to take early childhood education and be a daycare teacher but it’s hard to decide which is better to do, so I need you guys to help me.

choice # one: nscc online course.
-Take the course online but i’am not garenteed to finish it in 2years because courses get full and they get full fast online.
-I don’t know if i can get a student loan for online courses :S if not than I doubt i would be able to get the money in time before the classes are full.
- I think the girl said it will be about 375$ per course and theres 27 courses which is just over 10 grand.
-On the plus side I have 2 years worth of transfer credits to the university I like if i decide to go to univesity later on.

Choice # 2 Take it at a private college:
-It will cost me almost 12 grand for tution for the years.
-I will have to stay at rsidence since it isn’t that close to me so that will be about 11 grand but that’s food included. so right there thats about 23 grand.
- I can only get a year and a half worth of transfer credits to that same university.
- On the plus side I get to experience living at a residence and on my own.
- I could finish in the 2 years.
- It’s also much easier to learn from a teacher than learning stuff on your own.

What do you think would be a smart decision, I was thinking if me and my bf could get a morgage on a house between where I live and the school at least the money is being spent on having a house ut i would have to get a part time job to pay for food and gas, and it would be a 30 min drive which is fine with me but when the roads are bad I might end up having to skip some classes which I don’t want to do, so I don’t know im kinda stuck with deciding on what to do, please help me !!
oh yeah I’m scared about the 20 grand because im prob only going to make like 10-12 dollars an hour, so it will be hard to pay off that’s why I want to make the smarter choice.
sry i made alot of spelling mistakes i was typing fast lol

Financial aid question for continuing education?

I went to a private college for 3 years, tuition was insane. FISA covered barely half of tuition and I had to make insane amounts of loans. Overwhelmed by what I owed, I eventually dropped out. My grades were par, and dropping out really killed it.

I’m looking to start fresh and get started, just wondering if financial aid will still provide coverage or am I on my own?

Medical Illustrator Educational Requirements?

am considering pursuing the higher education to obtain a degree in medical illustration. However, as I was begining my research, I noticed the Medical Ilustrators have a BFA.

I have a BA in arts, concentrations in drawing and printmaking from a 4 year private college.

Would this be applicable to continue to become a medical illustrator?
