Best Military Branch for Continuing Education?
I’m a 23 yr old new grad. Well, I’ll be one this December. I’ve majored in Business Administration from UNC-Greensboro. but realized that this job market sucks. I’m interested in going to Physical Therapy School. But, that would be another year of pre-requisite classes on top of another 2-3 for graduate school. So, I’ve got to find a way to pay for this schooling since I had a soccer scholarship that payed for most of my undergraduate. I’m not really looking for the military to be my career…just a way to help pay for school. I’ve got 16K in Student loans.
So, with all that in mind which branch offers the most in terms of continuing education benefits? Which branch is least likely to be deployed? Should I pursue being an officer or enlisted? Any info. or guidance on the subject would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

air force. they’re the most lenient when it comes to scheduling things like that, have the shortest deployment (for those that actually do deploy), and are the most focused on the servicemember
btw i have no clue what the guy above me is takling about. the army doesnt have any programs where you dont have to worry about getting depoyed. when your contract is up you can reenlist for a school option: meaning you dont show up to work and only go to school, but thats only for a semester. and if your unit is deploying you’ll have to wait until you get back to go to school. army doesnt give you much time to go to school either. i tried to go every semester, was only allowed to take 1 class during my whole 4 years in.
This all really comes down to your own choice or what you wanna do
But i know the Army has contracts for people just like you and they have clauses that do not allow you to be deployed to Operation Iraqi or Enduring freedom because they want you to stay in school and be an officer
I would still with the Army and Air force for your best bets on support in the school aspect but go talk to recruiters just keep in mind it is there job to "sell" the military to you
