How many teeth on the spline of a 1988 Firebird?

1988 Firebird; want to change ratio of rear axle. Details show that I have a 2.73 right now and want to go to a 3.23 ratio. Need to know how many teeth are basically on the spline axles that the wheels are attached to so I can purchase the right differential and ring & pinion.
