i am looking for dental insurance or a discount plan that can help me get tooth implants!!?

due to an illness, I recently lost all my teeth and want to replace them with dental implants. i have been shopping online for coverage to help me with this cost but with all the choices its difficult to pick the one that would cover the most. can someone help me find an insurance or dental plan in western new york please?

I’m not familiar with what’s offered in your area, but you’re right, it’s tricky to navigate. Most insurers’ web sites have convenient side-by-side plan comparisons. Or, you may want to use an agent to help you make the right choice.
Questions to ask:
Are you restricted as to which dentists you can use?
What is the waiting period for major work?
Monthly premium / deductible / co-insurance

With most insurance companies, most don’t cover implants, and if they do, if you have missing teeth before you have their coverage, then they will not cover the implants on those areas. It is called a missing tooth clause, so I’d ask if they have a missing tooth clause… If the answer is yes, then they will not cover you. Also, there is usually a waiting period which means that you would have to wait 6-12month before being able to get any of "big" work done. In addition, because of the maximums you would end up having to strech the work over a course of many years because they only pay but so mucha year. Also look into how much you have to pay for themonthly premiums, PLUS what your copay is going to be, because if you are buying it instead of getting it from your employer, then you might end up paying more than if you paid out of pocket from the start.
