The benefits of being a Dental Hygienist?

Im very interested to know, so what are the benefits of this career as a dental hygienist? n do u know how much they get paid in texas? THANKX!!!!=). BTW what degrees are considered entry level to the profession. Is an Associates good enough?

An Associates degree should be enough.
The advantage of being a DH is that you do not have to go to school that long or incur that much cost as a dentist does and still be able to provide care to the patient.
The risk of liability is less being a DH.
