What is the best tooth whitening product?
My teeth are yellow from smoking and drinkng coffee. I have never used a tooth whitener, only whitening toothpaste. I have read alot of different things and im kinda scared to use any. My teeth and gums are kinda sensitive. Any suggestions on a good whitening product that actually whitens and dosn’t make your gums blister

One popular tooth whitening product that you can use is bleaching solution that contains peroxide for bleaching tooth enamel. The bleaching agent in these products is usually carbamide peroxide, which is available in 10, 16 and 22 percent concentrations.
Whiteners that contain peroxide typically come in gel form and are placed in a mouthguard. Some products are used twice a day for 2 weeks while others are intended for overnight use for a 1 to 2 weeks period. If you can obtain the bleaching solution from your dentist, he will be able to construct a custom mouth guard to fit your teeth precisely. Currently, the American Dental Association endorses only dentist-dispensed home-use percent carbamide peroxide tray-applied gels.
In addition to bleaching solution, whitening strips are increasingly being used as a preferred tooth whitening product. For instance, you are now able to get your hands on a set of Crest Whitestrips Supreme from any convenience store. The flexible, invisible strips are coated with an enamel-safe tooth bleaching gel. To whiten your teeth, you simply place the strips on your teeth and wear them for about 15 to 30 minutes each day. After a period of about 21 days, you should be able to see a significant difference on the brightness of your teeth.

Crest!!! definitely!! I used them before and they do really work. I am a smoker too and after about 6 months to a year my teeths started to turn yellow again so i just used the crest stripes again. It is a little expensive however it does really work. All the other products ive tryed dont seem to work for me
You can’t just whiten your teeth without having your dental cleaning and examination done to make sure there is no cavity or you will be in severe pain. Your dentist can make your trays and order your gel but if you rather pay less, then buy crest however the results are never the same.
In order to avoid sensitivity you have to make sure the gel does not touch the gum. Of course it will hurt if touches the gum.
Bdazzled is the best teeth whitening for me. You can check out their site. http://www.bdazzled.com.au
My teeth are very sensitive too and I use a product called Whitening Now. It is actually quite comfortable in your mouth and doesn’t cause me any pain. My teeth have gotten about 5 shades whiter in only a few weeks. Check out the link below to get a free trial of Whitening Now. Can’t beat a free trial!
If you feel dental teeth whitening is something you would like to try, the obvious place to start investigating is your dentist’s office. Your dentist can help give you a realistic view of how much dental teeth whitening you need and whether over the counter products can help you or whether you should consider dental teeth whitening in the dentist office. They may recommend you try an over the counter whitening product first as they are much more cost effective.
Today it’s now possible (in almost all cases) to achieve "dental office" quality teeth whitening, from the comfort of your own home saving you time and money. Basically there are three different types of home teeth whitening available: (1) Brush-on whitening, (2) Strips you stick on your teeth and (3) Trays with bleaching gels with the trays being the most effective method.
To get the best results from your home teeth whitening kit be sure to use form-fitting mouth trays that are fitted to your specific bite and use a 21% concentrated bleaching gel based on carbamide peroxide that is formulated specifically to reduce the sensitivity to your teeth and gums. (In other words – No Glycerin!). And be sure to follow all product directions carefully.
Be Realistic. As in the case of most things, with dental teeth whitening products, you usually get what you pay for. The quickest and best results are going to be from professional whitening in your dentist’s office, but often at a hefty price. However, there are over the counter products that are very effective, they just take longer to see results.
I have very sensitive teeth so the therabreath products have been working great for me.
