Will having an eye tooth removed change your facial structure?
I have a bad eye tooth and I am afraid that I may have to have it pulled. I’ve heard all kinds of things about having eye teeth removed such as causing bone damage and eye problems. Is any of this true? I already have a huge fear of dentists and this makes me feel worse.

Hi,
I am amazed at all the horror stories that I hear every day about the dentist.
I am glad I did not hear any of them as I was growing up, or I would have never become a dentist.
Having an "eye tooth" removed is not a good idea, since it is an important tooth for your bite to function properly and your smile to look normal.
I would recommend that you ask your friends and family for a dentist that is gentle and caring and have your tooth looked at before it gets worse.
Hope this helps.

Eye tooth is like that thing you download to your iPod, right? Well, I suggest you remove it before it infects your PC.
You risk more by not getting a bad tooth out. You need to ask around for a good dentist who works with people who are fearful. It is common, and can be overcome with gas(nitrous oxide) and oral sedatives ,if need be. Dentistry has come a long way. It’s like the logo at the olympics BELIEVE!
